As a Team Coordinator, you will be required to plan and take a lead role in coordinating onsite work activities enabling teams to construct and maintain the distribution electricity network in a safe, reliable, and affordable manner.

Your Role in Action
- Plan and prioritise work for each day and coordinate a team in the completion of planned and unplanned work
- Be responsible for ensuring that the teams are meeting the required performance each day, in the completion of work. Work cooperatively within the teams and across Western Power. Maintain open communication with team members and stakeholders.
- Receive, evaluate, and prepare work parcels for implementation. Schedule internal/external resources required to perform work.
- Ensure prompt attendance to faults and isolate the network for repairs to maintain the integrity of the network and minimise customer impact.
- Be available for an on-call roster and you be required to attend faults day and night and work weekends if required
- As required you may be required to attend Country Areas if fault conditions escalate.
- Construct network infrastructure according to design specifications and construction standards. Deal with day-to-day technical issues that can arise, on site, relating to design and construction issues.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems Distribution / Transmission Overhead OR Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems Distribution Cable Jointing
- Unrestricted Electricians Licence, certificate III Electro-Technology (Distribution Ground Mounted Equipment)
- HOU/LOU switching authorisations will be highly regarded
- Valid WA ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence (subject to business requirements)
- Demonstrated industry experience in the construction and maintenance of transmission and/or distribution electricity network
- Application of Western Power’s IT systems as required
