Team Coordinator | Operational North Drive in Drive Out (DIDO) | Permanent Opportunity

As part of our Operational North DIDO team, you’ll travel from Balcatta Depot using Western Power vehicles. You will be based in our Central Northern depots working independently with your crew as well as supplementing local crews, working 150 hours over a four-week roster.
Your role in Action
- Plan and prioritise work for each day and coordinate a team in the completion of planned and unplanned work.
- Ensuring the team is meeting the required performance each day.
- Work cooperatively within the local teams and across the Central North area.
- Receive, evaluate, and prepare work parcels for implementation.
- Ensure prompt attendance to faults and isolate the network for repairs to maintain the integrity of the network and minimise customer impact.
- Be available for an on-call roster.
- Construct network infrastructure according to design specifications and construction standards.
- Be flexible with changing priorities between planned and unplanned works.
What makes you a great fit
- Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems Distribution / Transmission Overhead OR Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems Distribution Cable Jointing.
- Unrestricted Electricians Licence, certificate III Electro-Technology (Distribution Ground Mounted Equipment).
- HOU/LOU switching authorisations are essential.
- Valid WA ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence (subject to business requirements).
- Demonstrated industry experience in the construction and maintenance of the distribution electricity network.
- Application of Western Power’s IT systems as required.
