EOI - Electrical Inspector

Western Power is expanding, and we’re looking for 10 skilled Electrical Inspectors to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring the safety and compliance of consumer electrical installations — including exciting initiatives like home battery systems and other emerging energy technologies across Perth.

What Makes You a Great Fit
Essential:
- Current Electrical Workers License
- Valid WA Driver’s License Class ‘C’ or ‘C-A’
- 3+ Years Electrician Experience
Desirable:
- Designated as an Inspector (Electrical)
- Certificate of Energy Coordination Act 1994, Electricity Act 1945
- Certificate IV in Government Investigations (Completion within 12 Months of commencement)
- Detailed working knowledge of electrical transmission and distribution networks and their associated systems
- Detailed working knowledge of AS3000 and West Australian Electrical requirements
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience
- Experience in electrical metering and/or installation practices, regulations, and procedures
