Learning Experience Consultant

We're seeking a Learning Experience Consultant to join us on a 6-month fixed-term contract in our evolving People Capability team, helping to develop the skills and capabilities that power our workforce. In this rewarding role, you'll design, develop and enhance engaging learning experiences that support technical excellence, meet evolving industry standards, and enable our people to perform at their best.

Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you'll create and maintain high-quality training resources aligned to Australian Qualifications Framework standards, national training packages and organisational requirements. Your work will play a vital role in ensuring our learning programs remain relevant, compliant and future-focused, empowering employees with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in a changing industry.

Your Role in Action  

• Design, develop and maintain engaging, high-quality learning resources aligned with AQF standards, industry training packages and business requirements.
• Research and translate complex technical information into effective training materials that support capability growth and reduce organisational risk.
• Ensure all learning resources are accurately version controlled, maintained and documented in accordance with governance and compliance requirements.
• Leverage contemporary learning approaches, digital technologies and e-learning solutions to continuously improve the learner experience and meet future workforce needs.
• Partner with subject matter experts and key stakeholders to develop relevant, practical and impactful training solutions.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of learning resources, using feedback and performance insights to drive continuous improvement.
• Coach and support colleagues in instructional design principles and best-practice learning development methodologies.
• Contribute to the enhancement of training and assessment frameworks, policies, systems and processes that strengthen organisational capability and performance.

What Makes You a Great Fit 

• Experience designing and developing engaging learning solutions, including e-learning resources, with a strong understanding of contemporary instructional design principles.
• Sound knowledge of the Vocational Education and Training sector, national training packages and Registered Training Organisation environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
• Strong digital literacy and advanced proficiency across Microsoft Office and other learning development technologies.
• Well-developed organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes within agreed timeframes.
• A collaborative and inclusive approach, with strong active listening, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills
