Training Coordinator

 

Are you passionate about vocational education and training? Do you have a previous experience in the VET sector and understanding of RTO compliance requirements? If so, we want you to be part of our team!

 

We are looking for a detail oriented, highly organised individual with experience in a project planning or scheduling environment to join our Training & Delivery Team as a Training Coordinator on a 12-month fixed term basis.

 

Your Role in Action  

 

As the Training Coordinator, you will be responsible to provide training administration and scheduling services to all business stakeholders and maintain PTS’s legislative, commercial, enterprise and RTO requirements.

Key requirements:

 

  • Experience in an RTO in a similar position.
  • Demonstrated administrative experience preferably within a project, planning and / or scheduling environment.
  • Be able to implement knowledge and understanding of the Standards for RTO’s 2015
  • Experience in managing systems and procedures in an RTO environment and maintaining a student management system.
  • Experience with MS Office suite – preferably intermediate expertise in Microsoft applications inclusive of Microsoft Projects with the ability developing and working with complex spreadsheets.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with a strong customer focus.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Be able to work autonomously, while understanding the need for team work to achieve goals in a highly regulated environment.
  • Be process driven with excellent attention to detail, ensuring compliance requirements are always adhered to.
  • Be able to demonstrate experience in driving improvements to support compliance.
  • Assist with systematic validation activities.
  • Participate in internal audit activities.
  • Experience in the use of systems: accelerated, Ariba and Ellipse preferable.
  • High level organisational, prioritising and planning skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement, scheduling, and cost control activities.
  • Proven personal effectiveness with business acumen.
