This is a permanent full-time opportunity, located at Moora and Jurien.


About the Role:


To investigate, identify and resolve complex network problems associated with LV and HV supply, including power quality, supply continuity, electric shock investigations and system testing.

Conduct network switching and commissioning and testing of automation systems.


About you:


The successful applicant will be experienced and competent in the following:


  • At least 4 to 6 years sound experience in LV and HV networks and the ability to carry out field based investigations relating to complex network problems associated with LV and HV supply
  • The ability to complete LV and HV switching. Preference given to current switching operators.
  • Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, data analysis and report writing skills.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of distribution and transmission networks and supply requirements.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of networks construction, maintenance and operations field practices and procedures.
  • Engineering standards, regulations and procedures applicable to the Section and Stream.
  • IT Literate - MS Office programs, MIMS and scheduling/work management systems and automation commissioning packages.

Salary: ASU EA Level S-AD - $110,758 + 11% superannuation.
