This is a full time role based in Narrogin or Katanning depots and servicing surrounding areas


About the Role:


In this position, you will be accountable for the repair, service, maintenance and undertaking of project work on Western Power’s heavy vehicle and mobile plant to ensure they are operating safely and maintained to manufacturers and Australian Standards.


About you:


The successful applicant will be experienced and competent in the following:


  • Base Trade qualification (AQF3) in Heavy Duty Mechanics,
  • High Risk licence class Forklift;
  • Valid WA 'HR" and/or 'HC' Driver's Licence
  • Relevant Network Authorisation including Basic Emergency Life Support (must be obtained within the first month of employment);
  • Demonstrated industry experience as a Mechanical Tradesperson;
  • Intermediate Written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to work in a team environment or independently as required


Other Desirable competencies


  • High Risk licence class Elevating Work Platform
  • High Risk licence Dogman
  • High Risk licence Crane C2
  • Combination of either Hydraulics, Electrics or Welding skills with a demonstrated technical experience/ability to 35 Fleet Competency points above Base Trade level;

Salary: CEPU EA Level OP-QA: $1730.19 per week.
