Join us in a permanent opportunity as our Billing Analyst in our Finance and Revenue Team and transform data into meaningful insight, enhancing quality, strengthening processes and systems, and driving innovative solutions across Western Power.

With a sharp analytical mindset, you’ll deliver accurate and timely tariff revenue forecasts and analysis, supporting pricing, planning, budgeting, and accounting decisions. This is your opportunity to make a tangible impact where data truly drives performance.

Your Role in Action

  • Deliver accurate, timely tariff revenue forecasts and analysis to inform pricing, business planning, budgeting, and accounting decisions.
  • Deep dive into revenue data to identify trends, validate assumptions, and generate actionable insights — including key drivers such as weather and price.
  • Provide robust review and “sense checks” of automated revenue and accrual models, ensuring outputs are accurate, credible, and decision ready.
  • Monitor billing accuracy and strengthen revenue invoicing processes to reduce errors, protect reputation, and improve overall compliance.
  • Investigate data irregularities and system issues, evaluating quality and recommending practical improvements to processes and controls.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Code obligations within a high-volume transactional environment, considering longer-term impacts and enhancements.
  • Act as the key interface between Finance, Metering, and broader business teams on tariff revenue and billing matters.
  • Support streamlined accrual processes, improved credit and debt timeliness, and contribute to training and knowledge-sharing initiatives across the organisation.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Advanced analytical capability — able to deep dive into data, uncover revenue trends, validate billing accuracy, and translate insights into meaningful business impact.
  • Demonstrated experience using data modelling and forecasting techniques to produce reliable, decision-ready insights that support business planning.
  • Strong conceptual thinking and the ability to solve complex problems with confidence and clarity.
  • Strong financial acumen, with the ability to interpret complex information and clearly communicate commercial implications.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across diverse teams.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
