Business Architect

We are seeking a Business Architect for a brand-new permanent opportunity. You’ll play a key role in supporting the development, operation, and continual maturity of our architecture practice. You’ll help steward critical platforms such as iServer as well as EA portals, enable governance processes like the Architecture Review Board (ARB), and collaborate with architects across the business to uplift the quality and currency of architectural artefacts.
Your Role in Action
- Architecture Practice Enablement & Tooling
- Own the configuration, structure, and user experience of our iServer/OrbusInfinity repository and associated EA portals.
- Maintain the quality and structure of Architecture artefacts, meta-models, and catalogues.
- Support the implementation and evolution of architecture services, standards, and knowledge bases.
- Administer and improve governance processes including Architecture Review Board (ARB) coordination and intake flows.
- Interface with Solutions Architects, Product Architects and Enterprise Architects across the business to ensure annual refresh of architecture artifacts at increasing maturity.
- Business Architecture & Workflow Automation
- Lead or support modelling of business processes, capability maps, and operating models.
- Evaluate and influence decisions on technology stacks supporting business and integration layers.

What Makes You a Great Fit
- Proven experience with Solution Architecture in a large-scale enterprise
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture tools, such as Orbus iServer/Infinity, ArchiMate, or similar.
- Skilled in Business Analysis
- Knowledge of business architecture, capability modelling, and workflow design.
- Comfortable with agile ways of working, cross-functional collaboration, and iterative delivery.
- Effective communicator with ability to support and uplift product and solution architects.
Great to Have (But We’re Open-Minded!)
- Practical experience with workflow automation platforms such as Nintex, Power Automate and Business Process Management.
