Join us in a permanent opportunity within our Finance Team as our Business Partners and Performance Manager. You’ll inspire and guide a team of finance professionals while providing analytical and commercial insight that drives informed decision-making, embeds accountability, and lifts financial capability across the business.
Your Role in Action
- Act as a trusted financial advisor to senior leaders, providing insightful, accurate and timely analysis that shapes financial strategy, influences decision-making and drives organisational performance.
- Lead end-to-end monthly financial reporting, delivering clear, compelling management, executive and Board reports that translate complex financial results into meaningful insights.
- Own the planning cycle, guiding the business through budgets, forecasts and long-term outlooks while constructively challenging assumptions, incremental changes and unapproved funding requests.
- Deliver deep performance and cost analysis, monitoring operational and functional results against forecasts, identifying trends, risks and opportunities for improvement and optimisation.
- Support smarter investment and pricing decisions, through high-quality financial modelling, cost–benefit analysis and contribution to robust business cases and benefits measurement.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders, including Treasury and corporate finance, to navigate governance requirements and enable successful investment outcomes.
- Ensure strong financial governance and compliance, applying effective controls, risk management and meeting all statutory and regulatory reporting obligations.
- Drive continuous improvement through technology and innovation, streamlining processes, enhancing insights and lifting the strategic impact of the finance function.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Strong experience in finance business partnering, with solid capability across financial analysis, performance reporting and complex budgeting in large organisations.
- A proven ability to drive commercial outcomes, improving both revenue and cost performance through practical insights and decision support.
- Sharp business acumen and analytical skills, with experience using modern financial systems and best-practice reporting standards.
- A naturally curious, detail-focused mindset, able to assess information critically and confidently in a fast-paced environment.
- Sound judgement and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively and support quality decision-making.
- Clear, engaging communication skills, able to turn financial data into meaningful messages for diverse audiences.
Qualifications
- A relevant degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA or CIMA).
