We currently have exciting opportunities for Business Trainees at our Perth CBD office on a 12 month max term basis.

 

About the Role:

 

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated Business Trainees to complete their Certificate III in Business.  These positions provide an entry level pathway into Western Power as part of a formal Traineeship Program whilst completing a Certificate III in Business. These positions will commenceme in February 2025

 

Through the program you will develop and gain knowledge and experience both through the attainment of a formal qualification and exposure to the technical, operational and safety aspects of the business. 

This full-time position would suit individuals who have recently completed year 11 or 12 or have been out of school for a couple of years and are ready to commence a career in Administration.

 

What we’re looking for

 

To be successful, you’ll have the following skills and attributes: -

  • Some experience – paid, volunteer or school based – in a customer service or administrative role.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritise work and critically assess own performance.
  • A willingness to learn, be reliable and punctual.
  • Basic level competence in Microsoft Office suite .
  • Minimum C Grades in Year 10 English and Maths or equivalent.
  • Reside in WA and be either an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Willing to provide a current Police Clearance.
