We’re seeking a Capability Excellence Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality training that equips our Network teams to work safely, confidently and effectively every day. You’ll drive excellence across our training function, ensuring pathways and courses are consistent, compliant and aligned to the evolving needs of the business.

Your Role in Action
- Lead the performance and assurance of technical training delivery, ensuring outcomes consistently meet safety, regulatory, operational and commercial expectations
- Oversee the end-to-end planning and delivery of accredited and non-accredited programs, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to a high standard.
- Design and continuously refine a flexible, scalable training model that balances quality, cost and timeliness while adapting to evolving Network capability needs
- Champion contemporary learning practices by embedding innovative, blended and adult learning approaches that enhance engagement, retention and real-world application
- Promote a customer-focused, commercially aware approach—partnering with stakeholders to deliver training that adds measurable value and supports operational performance
- Provide strong governance and technical oversight across training and assessment, including competency validation and recognition processes, ensuring consistency and compliance
- Lead, coach and inspire Team Leaders and their teams—building capability, driving accountability and fostering a safe, inclusive and high-performing culture
- Drive performance and continuous improvement through clear metrics, insightful reporting and effective budget management—using data to inform decisions, manage risk and optimise outcomes
- Oversee the management and continuous improvement of the Power Training Services Jandakot facility, to ensure the simulation of ‘real world’ conditions.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Demonstrated experience leading training delivery, capability or operational functions within a complex and regulated environment
- Proven ability to lead people and manage service delivery outcomes—balancing quality, timeliness, cost and compliance
- Experience working within or alongside a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), with a solid understanding of training and assessment governance
- Strong leadership capability, with the ability to empower others, set clear expectations and drive performance and continuous improvement through leaders
- Skilled at navigating competing priorities, adapting to changing demands and aligning delivery outcomes to broader business needs
- Well-developed stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across teams, partners and regulators, alongside a genuine commitment to fostering safe, inclusive and high-performing workplaces
