We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Assurance Specialist at Perth Head Office, on a Permanent Full-Time basis.


About this role

 

As the Commercial Assurance Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring that Western Power’s Contract Lifecycle Management Framework (CLMF) is understood, adopted, adhered to and continually improved.

 

Working within the Procurement Excellence area, you’ll play a critical role in:

 

  • Building and harnessing relationships with Procurement and Contract Management teams across the business.
  • Completing assurance assessments on Procurement and Contract Management records to ensure that they align with the CLMF.
  • Understanding and using the Contract Lifecycle Management System (CLMS) to plan, conduct and determine the effectiveness of assurance activities.
  • Influencing and educating stakeholders on the CLMF and CLMS.
  • Improving CLMF documents and processes so that they’re up to date, accessible and easy to use.  


About you 

 

We are seeking someone with experience and attributes that include:

 

  • Undergraduate qualifications in Law, Business, Procurement or related discipline
  • At least 5+ years’ experience in process development and governance
  • At least 2+ years sound Supply Chain, Sourcing, Contract Management or Auditing experience
  • Advanced user of process mapping applications (Holocentric, Visio, etc.)
  • Sound stakeholder influencing, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in business improvement initiatives (lean, six sigma, etc.)
