Your Role in Action
- Take the lead in contractor risk assessments with a strong emphasis on Safety & Health to protect people and operations.
- Advocate for full compliance by ensuring every contractor meet our Contract Management Framework and contractual obligations.
- Quickly identify and address any contractor breaches by closely monitoring activities and reporting issues promptly to maintain the highest standards and minimise risks.
- Evaluate the constructability of work packages thoroughly before finalising contracts, setting the foundation for smooth and successful project delivery.
- Drive operational excellence by managing outsourced work with unwavering attention to safety, environmental impact, and quality assurance.
- Take full ownership of project schedules by managing critical paths keep timelines tight and milestones on target.
- Support every contractual decision by ensuring all claims and variations are backed with comprehensive and accurate documentation.
- Serve as the go-to expert by influencing contractor performance through consistent application of systems and delivering trusted, insightful advice.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Strong working knowledge of Work Health & Safety legislation - safety is second nature to you.
- Confidence navigating contract management and execution - you know how to keep things compliant and on track.
- Skilled at resolving conflict, building trust, and managing stakeholder and public relationships with care.
- A solid background in construction trades with a sharp eye for risk assessment and safety.
- Proven ability to conduct constructability reviews - you see the practical risks before they happen.
- Natural negotiator and influencer - you get the best outcomes without the friction.
- Hold a valid WA Class C or C-A driver’s licence and a relevant qualification in trades, engineering, HSE, or contract management.

- Hands-on experience in power or heavy industry across planning, construction, operations, commissioning, or maintenance.
