We’re seeking an experienced Corporate Finance Manager to lead our treasury and financial management functions, driving strategic outcomes that align with our company’s objectives. This full-time role is ideal for a seasoned leader with a deep background in finance, treasury, investment, and portfolio advisory. You’ll guide a high-performing team, manage complex capital strategies, and uphold robust governance standards to achieve impactful results.
Your Role in Action
- Capital Strategy Execution: Lead and implement Western Power's capital strategy, managing capital allocations, and optimizing shareholder returns.
- Treasury and Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow operations, ensure efficient cash management, and manage debt and funding strategies.
- Governance and Risk Management: Develop risk mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, safeguarding Western Power's financial and operational integrity.
- Team Leadership and Development: Cultivate a high-performing, collaborative team culture, providing mentorship and supporting team members’ career growth.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain relationships across teams and with external partners, fostering alignment with our financial strategies.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; a background in banking is a plus.
- Extensive experience in financial and treasury management, ideally within a corporate or utility environment.
- Proven track record of mature leadership with strengths in strategic thinking, team management, and effective mentorship.
- Capital allocation and investment portfolio advisory skills.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of cash flow, credit management, and risk governance.
