Data Analyst

We’re on the lookout for a talented Data Analyst to join us for a 12-month fixed-term role. You’ll play a key part in driving investigations into cutting-edge technologies and data management solutions. Collaborate with both internal teams and external partners to identify business data needs and scope effective, sustainable solutions.

 

Your Role in Action  

 

  • Provide functional and technical support to projects, improving data capture tasks, and working with stakeholders to map and communicate changes to data requirements.
  • Ensure smooth execution of data, system, and procedural changes, keeping stakeholders informed and fully engaged throughout the process.
  • Maintain and enhance the Enterprise Data Strategy and Data Governance frameworks to ensure data capture and usage meets business needs, improving analysis capabilities and protecting information.
  • Regularly report on data management activities, ensuring clear, concise communication with management and stakeholders.
  • Oversee project work through a defined strategic pipeline, helping drive prioritisation, investment, and resource decisions while staying on budget and schedule.
  • Lead business data provisioning services, using technology to fulfill data requests and promote self-serve automation where possible.
  • Monitor adherence to BI governance frameworks, escalating risks, issues, and non-compliance where necessary, supporting remediation actions
  • Identify opportunities to improve asset data systems and processes across the organisation.

 

What Makes You a Great Fit 

 

  • Proven experience in a data analytics role.
  • Experience with Qlik Sense is highly desirable, but not essential.
  • Strong understanding and application of data governance principles.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement in data, systems, and processes.
  • Ability to analyse data and develop effective solutions using relevant systems and tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially when engaging with customers.
