Data Engineer

We have a new permanent opportunity for a Data Engineer who thrives on uncovering patterns, solving inconsistencies, and shaping data into powerful insights. You’ll play a key role in transforming complex structured and unstructured data into clean, usable formats that fuel analytics, reporting, and smart business choices.
Your Role in Action
- Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines using Informatica Power Centre/Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services /dbt and other tools to integrate data from multiple sources.
- Manage and organise complex data sets to identify patterns, trends, and inconsistencies that may impact business goals
- Provide technical expertise in data acquisition, modelling, extraction, and reporting, ensuring alignment with security standards
- Work extensively with Snowflake and Oracle databases to enable efficient data processing and storage
- Contribute to data architecture and infrastructure planning to support business project requirement
- Support business cases and requirements by ensuring data is provisioned in the right format, at the right time
- Use data analysis and visualisation tools to communicate insights clearly and effectively
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define the best ways to access, interpret, and report on data
- Prepare clear documentation to support data discovery, analysis, modelling, and reporting processes
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Proven experience in ETL/ELT design, development, and optimisation, ideally with Informatica toolset
- Experience in data analysis, data warehouse modelling, extraction, and reporting tool implementation
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with relational databases and cloud data warehouses
- Solid analytical skills with a keen eye for patterns and insights
- Confident in explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- A user-focused approach to engaging with end-users to understand true needs
- Industry Certification in Azure or Snowflake
