We're on the hunt for a Data Strategy & Governance Specialist to drive strategic, scalable data practices that power transformation and measurable business impact. In this pivotal role, you'll shape and deliver enterprise-wide strategy, harness insights and performance metrics, and embed data-driven thinking to elevate both operational effectiveness and innovation. Your Role in Action

 

 

  • Lead the continuous refresh and maintenance of our Data & Analytics strategy and data governance frameworks to keep pace with evolving business needs and industry best practices.
  • Translate insights into action – continuously review enterprise strategies, internal challenges and industry trends to refine strategy, using research and data to identify new opportunities and ensure relevance.
  • Measure what matters – define and track metrics to assess progress of strategy, ensure accountability, and demonstrate the business impact of data and AI initiatives.
  • Find ways to drive the strategy across the whole business, from strategy to outcome, and work with areas across the business to deepen their understanding
  • Influence enterprise operations by integrating data governance into everyday business processes and aligning with strategic objectives
  • Strengthen our data governance foundation – maintain data governance frameworks and guidelines that ensure clarity, consistency, and scalability across the organisation.
  • Champion collaboration - lead forums and working groups that bring people together to co-create and adopt smarter governance.

 

What Makes You a Great Fit 

 

  • Background in Information Technology with proven experience in strategic planning – skilled at developing and delivering forward-thinking plans that align with evolving business needs
  • Strong continuous improvement mindset – driven to optimise processes and align practices with industry-leading standards
  • Strong understanding of KPIs, with a focus on measuring what matters
  • Solid grasp of project environments and how strategy connects to execution
  • Sharp analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Confident communicator, skilled at driving change and building strong relationships
