DevOps Specialist

We’re on the hunt for a DevOps Specialist who lives and breathes automation. You’ll design streamlined workflows and powerful orchestration processes - driving efficiency, slashing manual tasks, and transforming how we operate. Your Role in Action
- Design and implement automation and self-service capabilities for infrastructure and cloud services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and drive workflow innovation.
- Create and manage workflows that enable the seamless coordination of tasks and data across multiple systems and applications.
- Own your code - write clean, maintainable scripts that are secure and version controlled.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and refine automated processes to keep everything running smoothly.
- Create clear and concise documentation for automated workflows, processes, and configurations.
- Document and share knowledge to champion automation adoption and upskill teams across the business.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Hands-on experience in complex ICT environments delivering reliable cloud, infrastructure, or application services to agreed service levels using service management tools.
- Collaborative and curious mindset – you thrive in a team and value open, respectful communication
- Proficient in scripting languages - Python, Bash and PowerShell etc.
- Skilled in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines - Hashicorp Terraform, Red Hat Ansible, Github, Bitbucket, Azure Devops, JIRA.
- Experience with Redhat Linux and Windows Server operating systems.
- Experience with public, private and hybrid cloud platforms - VMware Aria, Microsoft Azure and associated technologies.
- Understanding of cloud security principles and best practices - identity and access management (IAM), logging, secret management, encryption, firewalls.
