Facilities Management Team Leader

We’re looking for a Facilities Management Team Leader to guide a dedicated team of professionals in delivering high-quality facilities services across all non-network properties, buildings, and key network sites. In this pivotal role, you will ensure our facilities are fit for purpose, cost-effective, and expertly maintained, optimising asset life expectancy while upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Your Role in Action  

 

  • Ensure safe, compliant, and effective management of 4,000+ network and non-network facilities, including high-risk sites.
  • Lead, develop, and retain team talent to support succession and continuity.
  • Deliver clear scopes of work and manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and oversee team compliance, quality, and performance.
  • Develop and maintain maintenance plans and prioritisation processes, ensuring uptime of critical sites.
  • Drive continuous improvement and support change initiatives.
  • Collaborate on procurement and contract management with Commercial teams.
  • Provide support during Emergency Level 3 events and above.

 

 What Makes You a Great Fit 

 

  • Broad experience in property or facilities management, with strong knowledge of asset management planning, principles, and legislative requirements.
  • Extensive experience in planning and delivering facilities management services.
  • Proven ability to design or implement facility solutions aligned with business strategies.
  • Ability to work autonomously, using initiative and sound independent judgement.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong leadership, communication, influencing, and interpersonal capabilities.
  • Solid experience in contractor management, including scoping, sourcing, procurement, and contract administration.
  • Valid WA Class ‘C’ or ‘C-A’ driver’s licence.
  • Trade qualification with extensive industry experience, or tertiary qualifications in Asset Management, Facilities Management, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
