Lead a team that keeps our workplaces running at their best.

We’re seeking a Facilities Services Team Leader to step into a permanent opportunity where you’ll build, guide, and empower a Central Support team to deliver efficient, compliant Facilities Management services across a diverse Property and Fleet portfolio, ensuring our spaces are safe, fit for purpose, and ready to support the people who rely on them every day.

This is an opportunity to shape a strong, capable team, drive a culture of accountability and care, and make a lasting impact by optimising asset performance and longevity while delivering smart, cost-effective outcomes.

Your Role in Action

  • Lead and empower the Central Support team to deliver high-quality, customer-focused Facilities Management services across non-network infrastructure and a diverse Property and Fleet portfolio.
  • Champion service excellence by ensuring responsive, reliable support to internal stakeholders, balancing operational efficiency with a strong customer experience focus.
  • Guide, coach, and develop team members, driving performance, capability uplift, and engagement through clear expectations and ongoing development.
  • Oversee critical operational processes including asset data management systems, maintenance planning and scheduling, compliance documentation, reporting, and administrative support services.
  • Ensure all activities meet regulatory, safety, and compliance requirements, monitoring quality and performance to continuously improve service delivery outcomes.
  • Contribute to strategic planning for property and accommodation needs, providing insights to support long-term asset optimisation and lifecycle management.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial oversight activities, ensuring cost-effective delivery of services while maintaining asset integrity and performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement and consistency across Facilities Management functions, collaborating with peers to implement best practice processes, manage risk, and support safety, health, environmental, and community initiatives.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Values-led leader with the ability to inspire, influence, and build strong relationships while fostering a positive, service-driven team culture.
  • Proven experience in facilities or property management, with a solid understanding of asset management planning, lifecycle principles, and relevant legislation.
  • Demonstrated capability to plan and coordinate facilities services that are efficient, compliant, and aligned to customer and business needs.
  • Experience delivering fit-for-purpose facility solutions that support broader business strategy and enhance workplace performance.
  • Highly organised and adaptable, with the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a strong focus on quality service outcomes.
  • Skilled in designing and improving processes and systems that enable consistent, reliable, and customer-focused service delivery.
