We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst at Perth CBD on a 12 month Maximum Term basis.


About this role

 

We are curious about benchmarking. Curious about cost drivers. Curious about solving problems and creating opportunities as we partner with the stakeholders. We analyse data, develop insights and relationships to create and preserve value, in support of our financial objectives.

 

As the Financial Analyst, you will be required to work independently and with our Senior Analysts to:

 

Produce actionable insights and informative foresight by exploring, adapting and shaping our existing processes and tools to deliver our objectives and fulfil our purpose by:

  • Carrying out in-depth business analysis to identify trends, potential areas of concern and opportunities for improvement across the value chain.
  • Proactively establishing beneficial relationships to assist in the process of educating and building financial acumen to inform adaptive decision making.

 
About you

 

We are seeking someone with experience and attributes that include:

 

  • Demonstrated experience performing complex accounting, management reporting or financial analysis functions within a commercial environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Business, or a relevant discipline.
  • In exceptional circumstances only, extensive industry practical and demonstrated experience and knowledge in required discipline without a recognised degree may be considered.
  • Requires excellent theoretical and practical knowledge of different financial and analytical techniques, and the capability to plan own work and respect deadlines
  • Experience performing complex accounting, management reporting or financial analysis functions within a commercial environment
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong working relationships at all levels of an organisation, to arrive at consensus and create buy in for change.
  • Strong business acumen, advanced analytical skills, and a good level of experience to problem solve and arrive at solutions using technical ‘know how’.
  • Ability to use appropriate influencing skills to obtain positive outcomes and make decisions that align with the strategic direction of the organisation.
  • Good across all communication mediums, complimented by the ability to create the right environment for challenge and collaboration.
  • Relevant strong experience translating and conveying financial and non-financial information effectively to a variety of audiences using a broad range of tools.
