Hr Solution Centre Advisor

We’re offering an exciting 15-month maximum term opportunity to join Western Power as a HR Solutions Centre Advisor. In this pivotal role, you’ll provide efficient, accurate, and timely generalist advice, guidance, support, and coaching to employees and leaders on a wide range of HR matters. You’ll also play a key part in maintaining our core HR systems, including ServiceNow and Ellipse, while delivering high-quality administrative support to our HR Function and wider business.
Your Role in Action
- First point of contact in Human Resources for formal leaders and employees for HR related matters and to provide timely day to day advice and support.
- Accurate interpretation and advice on Western Power policies, procedures, relevant enterprise agreements and legislation.
- Coordinate related administrative and advisory services consistent with HR best practice, relevant policies and procedures, awards and corporate governance frameworks.
- Provide support with the implementation of Western Power strategy and initiatives as required.
- Assist HRBP’s to drive actions which lead to increased leadership effectiveness.
- Review and advise of any inconsistencies in business documentation that may result in risk.
- Coordinate and coach formal leaders in the use of relevant HR Solutions Centre systems.
- Provide administrative project support to the HR function as required.
- Identify and recommend process improvement to HRSC processes to ensure efficiencies across the team, function and wider business.
- Accurately maintain HR related information within Ellipse and ServiceNow to ensure core information supports the business requirements and reporting needs.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Demonstrated previous experience in a busy HR team, providing generalist advice, support and administrative services.
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining good working relationships at all levels of an organisation.
- Solid communication, writing and interpersonal skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to build effective relationships with key, internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent customer service skills and strong customer service focus.
- Proven ability to work at an advisory level for a large operational organisation.
- Experience in utilising ServiceNow and Ellipse Systems (essential criteria for the role)
- Ability to set work priorities and meet deadlines.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline or working towards obtaining.
