HR Business Partner – Permanent – Perth CBD

 

We’re seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner for a permanent opportunity to partner closely with leaders and teams across the business and deliver strategic and practical HR solutions aligned to Western Power's People Strategy. Providing expert guidance across a range of workforce matters, you'll support business leaders to make informed decisions that strengthen capability and drive performance.

 

Your Role in Action

 

  • Build trusted partnerships with leaders and teams across your portfolio, serving as the primary HR business partner and delivering responsive, customer-focused people solutions that support business performance.
  • Proactively engage with stakeholders to understand business priorities, identify workforce risks and opportunities, and translate these into practical, value-adding HR strategies and actions.
  • Provide expert coaching and guidance to leaders across a broad range of people matters, helping them build high-performing, engaged and inclusive teams.
  • Partner with leaders to strengthen workforce capability through effective performance management, talent development, succession planning and workforce planning initiatives.
  • Collaborate with HR Centres of Excellence to deliver impactful people programs and strategic initiatives aligned to organisational goals and the People Strategy.
  • Use workforce data, insights and trends to inform decision-making, recommend solutions and enhance the employee experience across your portfolio.
  • Lead and support organisational change initiatives, ensuring seamless stakeholder engagement, effective communication and positive business outcomes.
  • Foster strong, collaborative relationships across the organisation while continuously identifying opportunities to improve people practices, mitigate risk and enhance service delivery.

 

What Makes You a Great Fit

 

  • Demonstrated experience as a trusted HR Business Partner, providing proactive people advice and solutions across a broad range of HR disciplines.
  • Proven ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and influence leaders at all levels to achieve positive people and business outcomes.
  • Experience supporting leaders through complex workforce and organisational challenges in a large-scale business environment.
  • Ability to analyse workforce challenges, assess risk and deliver practical, fit-for-purpose solutions.
  • Exceptional organisational, prioritisation and problem-solving skills, with experience managing competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
