Innovation & UX Specialist

 

Join our Innovation Services Team as an Innovation & UX Specialist. Turn innovative ideas into reality, where digital technologies are evaluated and validated. We are looking for someone forward-thinking who has experience in user design practices, digital technologies and who is enthusiastic about researching the latest market trends, quickly assessing viable options, and experimenting with prototypes.

 

This role is ideal for someone creative with keen interest in technology & end-user experiences and is skilled in pro-code and no/low-code tools that can build applications to help us test and validate ideas, before undertaking a full-cycle development.

 

Your Role in Action  

 

  • Help the team structure and create experiments, prototypes, and proof of concepts where ideas can be quickly tested, by understanding our tech and solution architecture, and broader corporate technology environment.
  • Develop and build solutions/applications to test concepts based on business and strategic objectives.
  • Utilise Pro-Code and Low Code tools to optimize and unlock value from our existing tech stack, including technologies such as Nintex, PowerApps, Optimizely, SharePoint, Co-Pilot, etc.
  • Work with APIs, Data Warehouses, On-prem/Cloud applications, tenants, and development environments to integrate and enhance product functionality when ready to scale.
  • Stay informed on market trends and identify the best solutions to meet business needs.
  • Balance user needs with business objectives to design seamless digital experiences that align with Digital Products strategic goals such as driving digital employee, customer, field operations & safety experiences across the organisation
  • Using human centred design & innovation methodologies to Integrate a wide range of user preferences, experiences, and expectations into cohesive product designs that promote accessibility & productivity.
  • Support user research efforts using both qualitative and quantitative methods, analysing results to understand success metrics, and using these insights to refine and enhance design solutions.

 

What Makes You a Great Fit 

 

  • Proficiency in low code /pro-code tooling for efficient development. Full-stack developer experience preferred.
  • Experience with API integrations, including connecting to datasets and understanding how to read and link information.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively present design ideas and prototypes to stakeholders.
  • Understanding of UX research methods, usability principles, information architecture, interaction & service design, and accessibility standards.
  • Strong ability to conduct and interpret both qualitative and quantitative data to provide insights in success metrics.
  • Analytical skills, with the ability to assess user behaviour and extract valuable insights from data.
  • Experience with innovation methodologies & tools to de-risk and deliver digital solutions via highly collaborative and cross-functional approaches.
