Insurance Analyst

We're looking for a dedicated Insurance Analyst to play a key role in delivering analytical and technical support across our insurance programs. In this full-time, permanent position, you’ll help drive the successful implementation and ongoing management of insurance initiatives that support our business goals.

 

Your Role in Action  

 

  • Lead the annual insurance renewal process, including preparation of declarations, underwriting submissions, and reports.
  • Act as the primary liaison for insurance brokers and manage the brokerage contract.
  • Provide expert insurance advice across the business, including support on policy coverage and claims.
  • Review and advise on insurance clauses in business contracts and agreements.
  • Draft Executive and Board-level papers on insurance matters.
  • Oversee insurance claims management and ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain and enhance insurance-related processes, procedures, and training initiatives.
  • Identify and implement improvements to strengthen the organisation’s insurance program.

What Makes You a Great Fit 

 

  • Proven experience in corporate insurance and/or enterprise risk management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, advise, and build strong relationships across the business.
  • In-depth understanding of current and emerging insurance practices, trends, and frameworks.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and formal submissions.
  • A degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Postgraduate qualifications or professional accreditation in risk management and/or insurance (highly regarded).
