We currently have an amazing 12-month maximum term opportunity for an Organisational Capability Manager accountable for building, leading and developing a team of highly capable and effective HR professionals who work collaboratively with senior leaders and other members of the People Business Unit to address enterprise-wide people and organisation opportunities.

 

About this role

 

As a senior leader within the Human Resources function, this position leads a team of experts who supports the business in a diverse range of areas including organisational design, work design, organisational culture, talent and succession management, remuneration and recognition, leadership development, learning and development and diversity equity and inclusion.

 

Key accountabilities of this role include:

  • Lead a team of highly capable and effective HR professionals  in designing and delivering the right people and organisation systems and solutions in partnership with the business. Three teams include:
    • Learning and Development
    • Organisational Effectiveness
    • Remuneration, Systems and Governance

      Develop strategies to deliver on People Strategy, including Leadership, Culture and Inclusion

      Ensure program of continuous improvement to ensure HR Systems and ways of work align with current and future ways of work

      Drive alignment and prioritisations of team activities and programs to HR Strategy

      Design and deliver organisational diagnostics (Hogan, DiSC, Engagement measure) to understand, analyse and develop actions to drive improvement in employee experience and culture.

      Champion for organisational change and driving improvements to meet future of work.


About you

 

We are seeking someone with experience and attributes that include:

 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Human Resources or Behavioural Sciences.
  • Extensive experience within a contemporary Human Resources environment or human capital consulting.
  • Leadership of a team of experienced SMEs in either an operational or project setting.
  • High level of expertise in any specialist area, including contemporary organisational effectiveness, organisational design, learning, leadership development and talent management knowledge and skills.
  • Extensive experience in project delivery (including the development of business cases and tracking business benefits).
  • Well-developed leadership, influencing, negotiation, stakeholder management, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven abilities in developing an integrated approach to HR/people and organisational solutions to ensure the organisation has the ability to deliver its operational and strategic priorities.
