Senior Employee Relations Consultant - Two Year Fixed Term - Perth
We're growing our Employee Relations team and have an exciting Senior Employee Relations Consultant opportunity available.
As part of our Employee Relations team, you'll provide expert advice and practical support on a broad range of employee and industrial relations matters. Working closely with leaders, HR colleagues, employees and union representatives, you'll help create positive workplace outcomes while ensuring compliance with enterprise agreements, legislation and organisational policies.
What you'll be doing

Provide expert advice on employee and industrial relations matters.

Partner with leaders to manage performance, disciplinary matters, grievances, redundancies and workplace investigations.

Support dispute resolution processes and work towards positive outcomes at the enterprise level.

Build effective relationships with unions, employee representatives and key stakeholders.

Interpret and provide advice on enterprise agreements, employment contracts and industrial instruments.

Contribute to organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives.

Develop, review and implement employee relations policies, procedures and standards.

Support enterprise bargaining activities and industrial negotiations.

Mitigate organisational risk through sound ER advice and practical solutions.
You'll bring
-
Experience in Employee Relations, Industrial Relations or Human Resources.

Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
-
Sound judgement and the ability to manage sensitive and complex matters.
-
Excellent communication, negotiation and conflict resolution capabilities.
-
The ability to influence and coach leaders through challenging workplace situations.
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
You'll also demonstrate

Extensive experience managing complex employee and industrial relations matters.

Deep knowledge of industrial legislation, enterprise agreements and union engagement.

Experience working within large, operational and unionised environments.

Proven capability to lead negotiations, resolve significant disputes and provide strategic ER advice.
