People Insights & Systems Manager

We’re seeking a dynamic and strategic People Insights & Systems Manager to lead the integration of workforce analytics and digital platforms. This new role is pivotal in enabling data-driven decision-making and enhancing the employee experience and safety performance. The successful candidate will set a cohesive People Data Strategy, optimise system capabilities, and drive continuous improvement across the entire employee lifecycle.

 

Your Role in Action  

 

  • Shape and lead the strategic development and delivery of the people data, insights and systems roadmap aligned to workforce priorities and strengthens the People Business Unit.
  • Drive the integration and optimisation of people systems to ensure seamless data flow, improved user experience, and operational efficiency across the employee lifecycle.
  • Deliver actionable workforce analytics, including dashboards, predictive models, and deep-dive insights, to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Champion data governance and integrity, ensuring people data is accurate, secure, ethical, and trusted across the organisation.
  • Apply a human-centered approach to data, using behavioural insights to understand engagement, performance, safety, and workforce trends.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and partnerships, aligning systems and analytics with broader digital and organisational transformation initiatives.
  • Build capability and foster innovation, enhancing data literacy, evidence-based practice, and strategic impact across the People function.
  • Provide timely and insightful reporting, supporting executive decisions, compliance, and enterprise performance monitoring with clarity and integrity.

 

 What Makes You a Great Fit 

 

  • Proven leadership and stakeholder engagement, influencing and partnering effectively across diverse teams.
  • Experience establishing and leading data, analytics, and systems teams, with clear processes and aligned operating models.
  • Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Qlik) and familiarity with SQL, Python, or similar languages.
  • Strategic thinker, able to turn data into actionable insights that drive business priorities.
  • Strong analytical and data storytelling skills, with a curious and critical mindset.
  • Knowledge of large data environments, ETL processes, and best-practice data management.
  • Relevant degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Commerce, Economics, or related field.
