We’re seeking an exceptional Principal Operations and Governance Consultant to power the success of our Digital Products portfolio. In this pivotal role, you’ll establish and lead robust governance and portfolio management practices that ensure our projects and products are delivered on time, on budget, and with real, measurable impact. You’ll embed best-practice standards, drive assurance across Digital Products and Innovation, and provide clear, trusted oversight of delivery against our capital plan and Access Arrangements, bringing structure, confidence and momentum to everything we deliver.
Your Role in Action
- Shape and embed world-class portfolio management practices that bring clarity, focus and momentum to the DP&I portfolio.
- Lead the governance of Digital Product Roadmaps, implementing a consistent methodology and partnering with DP&I leaders to co-facilitate dynamic workshops that turn strategy into action.
- Drive a disciplined bi-annual roadmap review cycle, tracking delivery and ensuring roadmaps are seamlessly integrated into capital and operational plans.
- Champion robust assurance and governance standards, aligning the DP&I portfolio with annual planning, capital planning, long-term outlooks and Access Arrangement cycles.
- Design and embed an integrated portfolio planning framework that connects annual priorities with 5–10 year strategic ambition.
- Elevate prioritisation, delivery and reporting practices, ensuring investments translate into measurable value and impact.
- Standardise and uplift project management capability through clear work instructions and consistent reporting disciplines.
- Strengthen transparency, accountability and compliance, maintaining governance reporting mechanisms that meet legislative, regulatory and corporate requirements.

- Proven experience leading best-practice portfolio governance, with a track record of embedding frameworks that deliver real impact.
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic mindset, with the ability to translate business strategy into disciplined execution.
- Confident, values-driven leadership, capable of balancing big-picture thinking with multiple competing priorities.
- Sound understanding of regulatory environments, corporate governance and compliance obligations.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to translate complex data into clear, compelling insights.
- Highly developed influencing and stakeholder engagement skills, building trusted partnerships across all levels.
- Solid financial and budgeting knowledge, including experience monitoring and controlling capital or operational performance.
