Senior Business Analyst – Permanent – Perth CBD

 

The Operations Improvement team plays a key role in enabling Asset Operations to deliver safe, efficient, and customer-focused services to the communities we serve. Through expertise in continuous improvement, project delivery, facilitation, strategic planning, and analytics, we help transform ideas into meaningful outcomes. 

 

As trusted advisors to the business, we partner with leaders and teams to identify opportunities, solve complex challenges, and implement sustainable improvements that deliver lasting value. 

 

Reporting within the Operations Improvement team, this role leads the end-to-end delivery of continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities, scope and deliver projects, and implement solutions that provide measurable benefits while supporting Asset Operations' strategic goals.

 

Your Role in Action

 

  • Providing subject matter expertise and , advice and direction in, among others, gap analysis facilitation and high-level scoping, to facilitate data driven business decision making capabilities 
  • Facilitates workshops and planning sessions to identify areas and opportunities for improvement aligned towards the strategic direction and objectives of the organisation 
  • Provides in-depth insights to senior leaders upon opportunities and how best to realise improvement which will directly impact on business results and outcomes
  • Converts business strategy and plans into a high-level definition of the required business initiative with a clear understanding of delivery success 
  • Enables the evolution of high-level solutions to business challenges or opportunities.

 

What Makes You a Great Fit

 

  • Formal study, development or qualifications in business, finance, business analysis, risk and / or data analytics / modelling
  • Extensive and broad consulting experience, including relevant experience working in high performing, multi-disciplinary teams 
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products 
  • Demonstrated experience managing communications and engagement of high-level business stakeholders 
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise workload to meet required deadlines 
  • Proven ability to work constructively and show leadership in a way that builds teamwork, collaboration and trust 
  • Effective negotiation skills, experience in driving change and able to facilitate collaboration between management stakeholders with differing opinions 
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, strong influencing and organisational skills.
