Senior Change Manager – Permanent Full Time / Perth CBD Office

 

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Change Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and implementing comprehensive change management strategies and practices that maximise employee adoption and usage, minimising resistance to facilitate successful project change outcomes within Western Power. This project is vital for the future of Western Australia’s energy transition and sustainability outcomes in the coming years (Clean Energy and Decarbonisation). This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in Perth CBD.

 

Your Role in Action  

 

  • Define the change, use the appropriate tools to develop a detailed process map of the current and future state.
  • Conduct a detailed Change Impact Assessments for all impacted stakeholders
  • Define and integrate business readiness frameworks into the Transmission Portfolio Office (TPO).
  • Work with the TPO team to understand the change impact and develop a change management plan to address the impacts.
  • Drive portfolio and program-level change strategy - lead the design, development and implementation of a comprehensive change management strategy and plan for the Business Improvement portfolio, aligned to the strategic plan.
  • Manage change outcomes - Deliver overall change management planning and implementation within the Business Improvement Portfolio including communications, stakeholder engagement, education, and training, embedding, and sustaining change and benefits realisation.
  • Work with stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure plans are developed and implemented to achieve effective engagement and communication with all affected parties throughout the project.
  • Embed change - Design, develop and implement an education, training and ongoing support strategy and plan to embed the desired change, ensuring appropriate support is provided after the project is formally closed.
  • Improve the achievement of expected business project benefits through coaching change consultants to deliver consistent, integrated, and high-quality change plans and activities, working within the standard enterprise change management framework.
  • Provide focused change management support within strategic projects and contribute to the integration of projects with other organisational change initiatives.

 

 What Makes You a Great Fit 

 

  • Professional qualifications in Change Management (e.g. PROSCI accreditation) or other relevant qualification (e.g. Strategic Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, etc).
  • Extensive knowledge and expertise with demonstrated experience in a change management position.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Change Management approaches, principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g. PROSCI).
  • Demonstrated success in delivering agreed outcomes in program-based change management including design, development & implementation of change plans and application of interventions for complex change issues within a dynamic environment.
  • Conceptual and practical understanding of best practice change management strategies, methodologies and techniques and their application.
  • Experience and exposure of working in or delivering change management for the implementation of a PMO.
  • Experience working in an energy utility or other utility environment is an advantage.
