Senior Change Manager

Step into a 12-month fixed-term opportunity as a Senior Change Manager within our Technology team and play a pivotal role in shaping how change happens at Western Power.

 

You’ll lead the design and delivery of impactful change strategies that inspire adoption, reduce resistance, and set our projects and our people up for lasting success. Your work will strengthen both individual and organisational capability, embedding confident, effective change practices across Western Power.

 

Your Role in Action

 

  • Lead portfolio-wide change by shaping and deliver an inspiring, enterprise-aligned change strategy for our Business Improvement portfolio that turns vision into action.
  • Deliver measurable impact by driving sustainable change and maximise ROI through strong benefits realisation planning and tracking.
  • Own end-to-end change delivery – Oversee communications, stakeholder engagement, learning, embedding, and long-term adoption to ensure change truly sticks.
  • Champion stakeholder experience – Build trusted partnerships, manage expectations, and create meaningful engagement across all impacted teams.
  • Embed lasting capability – Design and implement education, training, and post-go-live support that empowers people to confidently adopt new ways of working.
  • Elevate change practice – Coach and uplift Change Consultants to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes within our enterprise framework.
  • Identify and manage interdependencies across programs, ensuring seamless alignment and delivery.
  • Provide targeted change expertise on key initiatives, connecting projects into a cohesive organisational journey.

 

What Makes You a Great Fit

 

  • Proven experience leading change initiatives, with deep expertise in change management practices.
  • Strong working knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, tools, and best-practice approaches.
  • Demonstrated success delivering division based change outcomes, including designing, developing, and implementing effective change plans.
  • Confidence navigating complex change challenges in dynamic environments, applying practical and people-centred interventions.
  • A genuine commitment to understanding and meeting the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to influence, engage, and support diverse teams through meaningful change.
