Senior Consultant, Major Customer Energy Projects – Permanent - Perth CBD
We’re looking for a customer-focused leader to manage end-to-end delivery of major energy projects that accelerate WA’s decarbonisation goals. As the primary point of contact for our largest customers, you’ll combine strategic relationship management with disciplined project oversight—helping connect renewable generation, battery storage, and large-scale loads to the South-West Interconnected Network.

Your Role in Action
- Be the trusted advisor for major customers, guiding them from concept through to connection and ensuring a seamless experience.
- Build and maintain strong relationships, fostering trust and collaboration across internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Oversee project delivery end-to-end, ensuring milestones are met, risks are managed, and compliance with regulatory frameworks is maintained.
- Maintain accurate customer data and project records, driving transparency and consistency across systems.
- Lead contract negotiations that balance commercial outcomes with customer needs, safeguarding Western Power’s reputation for reliability and innovation.
- Champion continuous improvement, resolving escalations quickly and identifying opportunities to enhance customer experience.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Teritary qualifications in a business related discipline.
- Project Management qualifications desirable or willingness to undertake study to gain qualifications.
- Proven experience in account management or client-facing roles, ideally within complex infrastructure or energy environments.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at senior levels.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a track record of maintaining accurate data and following structured processes.
- Commercially savvy, with confidence in contract negotiation and risk management.
- Exceptional communicator who can simplify complexity and manage competing priorities.
