Senior Inventory Specialist

We're looking for a Senior Inventory Specialist to join our Commercial Team for a permanent opportunity. You'll take charge of a key materials portfolio—maximising service, minimising costs, and shaping smarter supply strategies. As a trusted expert, you'll work closely with teams and suppliers to drive continuous improvement, reduce costs, and align supply with business priorities.
Your Role in Action
- Own a $150M+ materials portfolio, leading the end-to-end replenishment strategy that balances cost, service, and efficiency.
- Be the go-to expert in supply chain end to end process—guiding, mentoring, and empowering your team to thrive and grow.
- Design and deliver smart inventory strategies, optimising stock levels while protecting service and minimising investment.
- Lead supplier relationships, driving performance through KPIs and ensuring seamless delivery—even in times of shortage.
- Champion continuous improvement, identifying and leading key initiatives that boost commercial outcomes and streamline operations.
- Leverage existing or new systems and software to refine inventory processes and improve decision-making.
- Contribute to strategic sourcing, representing Materials in tenders and projects to secure long-term value.
- Inspire excellence, coaching the team and driving a culture of accountability, innovation, and proactive problem-solving.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Proven experience in inventory or supply chain management
- Strong background in supplier relationships and contract management
- Solid knowledge of replenishment models and inventory optimisation
- Sharp analytical skills and data-driven decision making
- Experience in designing, implementing and optimising inventory planning systems
- Great at building relationships and adapting to change
- Degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field
