Senior People Capability Business Partner – Permanent – Jandakot

 

As a Senior People Capability Business Partner, you will play a key role in shaping workforce capability across Western Power by partnering with leaders to design and deliver capability solutions that support safe, compliant and future-ready operations. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you will provide strategic advice, drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure capability investments align with operational requirements, regulatory obligations and Western Power's long-term workforce objectives.

 

Your Role in Action  

  • Partner with leaders to identify workforce capability needs and priorities.
  • Design and deliver capability solutions that support business outcomes.
  • Provide expert advice on capability planning, training and workforce development.
  • Analyse capability gaps, risks and trends to drive performance improvement.
  • Manage key stakeholder and supplier relationships to optimise training delivery.
  • Monitor training quality, costs and vendor performance against agreed standards.
  • Support risk management, governance and compliance across capability programs.
  • Lead continuous improvement and change initiatives to strengthen capability outcomes.

 

What Makes You a Great Fit 

  • Experience in capability development, training services or RTO environments.
  • Strong understanding of qualification frameworks, RTO requirements and the VET sector.
  • Demonstrated success designing and delivering workforce capability solutions.
  • Highly developed stakeholder engagement, influencing and communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen with analytical and problem-solving capability.
  • Experience managing external providers and commercial service relationships.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement, change and business outcomes.
