Senior Pricing & Regulation Analyst – Perth CBD / Permanent – Full Time

 

We are seeking a Senior Pricing & Regulation Analyst to join our team. This role focuses on regulatory analysis and developing robust policies, particularly regarding network tariffs and pricing strategies. You will play a key part in shaping our regulatory submissions and driving Western Power’s objectives within the economic regulatory framework. 

 

Your Role in Action  

 

  • Develop and implement innovative pricing strategies to optimize revenue under the regulatory framework.
  • Maintain and operate Western Power’s revenue and pricing models, contributing to critical regulatory processes.
  • Provide expert guidance on policy development, focusing on network tariffs and services.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to influence regulatory market and policy issues impacting Western Power.
  • Contribute to the preparation of proposals for regulatory access arrangements.
  • Support and drive regulatory submissions by developing defensible data and evidence to showcase Western Power's efficiency and investment outcomes.

 What Makes You a Great Fit 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant discipline.
  • Strong expertise in pricing and revenue modelling within a regulatory context.
  • In-depth knowledge of economic regulatory frameworks, including access arrangements and codes.
  • Familiarity with the Wholesale Electricity Market principles and unregulated service pricing strategies.
  • High competency in Excel and the Microsoft suite.
