Senior Project Delivery Specialist – Permanent Full Time – Perth CBD
Join Western Power’s Engineering & Design function in a role where your ability to turn complex information into clear, compelling insights will shape how work gets delivered across the portfolio.
Working closely with senior leaders, you’ll apply a structured, analytical approach to assess performance, synthesise data, and develop high-quality presentations, reports, and strategic materials that support informed decision-making. This isn’t a traditional project delivery role — it’s about connecting the detail, telling the story, and helping leaders see where to focus.
You’ll play a key role in bringing together insights from across the business, supporting priority initiatives, and contributing to workshop facilitation and continuous improvement activities — all within a collaborative, delivery-focused engineering environment.
Your Role in Action
- Translate complex program and project data into clear, actionable insights to support decision-making across Engineering & Design
- Develop high-quality presentations, reports, and materials that effectively communicate performance, risks, and opportunities to senior leaders
- Collate and synthesise information from multiple stakeholders to create structured, compelling narratives
- Analyse delivery performance, identify trends, and highlight opportunities to improve cost, time, and quality outcomes
- Support the facilitation of workshops and key initiatives, contributing to continuous improvement across the portfolio
- Monitor and maintain reporting on program and project performance, ensuring data is accurate, relevant, and up to date
- Contribute to governance processes, reporting frameworks, and project delivery standards aligned to Western Power methodologies
- Provide support, guidance, and insights to project teams to enhance delivery outcomes and overall program performance.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Tertiary qualifications in Project / Program Management, Business or related discipline
- Industry accreditation in planning and or project management principles, either PMBOK®, Prince2™, P3O™, MSP™, Agile
- Extensive knowledge and expertise in portfolio, programme and project management and or delivery, with experience within government regulated and/or engineering sectors preferred
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong working relationships at all levels of an organisation as well as with external suppliers / providers
- A seasoned professional with demonstrated success in developing effective program and project management frameworks
- Strong communication, writing and interpersonal skills, complimented by highly developed influencing skills
- Ability to align detail orientated tasks with the "big picture" and communicates accordingly
- Highly developed analytical skills, attention to details and business acumen
- Previous experience in providing project / program assurance and governance reviews and activities.
