Senior Solution Architect

Location:

Perth Office - CBD, WA, AU

26 Mar 2026

Step into a permanent role as our Senior Solution Architect, where you’ll lead the design direction of critical solutions that power our field operations. You’ll guide external partners in shaping high-quality technical designs, applying your deep expertise across applications and infrastructure to ensure every solution is robust, scalable, and aligned with our standards.

In this hands-on, business-facing role, you’ll bridge strategy and delivery—assuring design quality, supporting developers, and driving solutions that enable our depots, field crews, fleet, scheduling, inspection tools, and integrations to perform at their best.

Your Role in Action

  • Lead the translation of business needs into scalable, fit-for-purpose solution designs—guiding external partners to deliver high-quality outcomes that align with ICT standards and maximise investment value
  • Own the end-to-end design lifecycle, shaping clear, practical documentation and providing ongoing, hands-on guidance to developers and configuration specialists to ensure successful delivery
  • Assure the integrity of solution architectures and implementations by rigorously reviewing outputs from service providers and embedding best practice design principles
  • Monitor program and project progress against agreed designs, proactively identifying risks, driving corrective actions, and escalating issues to keep delivery on track
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders and delivery partners to navigate complex challenges, balancing business priorities, budget constraints, and technical feasibility
  • Work collaboratively across internal teams and external suppliers to deliver seamless, business-focused technology outcomes
  • Contribute to the strength and resilience of our cyber security and ICT architecture, partnering across the organisation to ensure solutions are secure, compliant, and future-ready
  • Help shape our technology direction—informing enterprise architecture, guiding strategic investment decisions, and championing continuous improvement, innovation, and a high-performing team culture

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Proven experience shaping and sustaining solution architecture within large, complex, and distributed ICT environments
  • Strong background designing enterprise applications, BI/reporting platforms, and content or knowledge management solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate diverse infrastructure landscapes with confidence
  • Solid understanding of development practices and delivery methodologies, with the ability to guide solutions from concept through to implementation
  • Ability to connect strategy to execution—translating business needs into clear, effective architecture outcomes
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Systems Analysis, or a related field
