Senior Strategy & Architecture Analyst

We’re seeking a Senior Strategy & Architecture Analyst for a newly created permanent role. Sitting at the intersection of strategy, enterprise architecture, and operations, this role helps shape long-term technology direction while enabling a high-performing Architecture Practice.
You’ll bring external insight, strong analytical thinking, and clear storytelling to influence decisions, support senior leaders, and ensure architecture ways of working are effective and aligned to business priorities.
Role in Action
- Architecture Practice Uplift: Facilitate workshops with Solution Architects to define, document, and standardise solution patterns, processes, and ways of working.
- Architecture Tooling Enablement (iServer): Provide onboarding and training for architects, manage architecture building blocks (applications, principles, patterns), and enable clear, high-quality visual insights.
- Architecture Review Board (ARB) Coordination: Maintain, execute, and continuously improve the ARB process, including governance cadence and optimisation of submission templates.
- Architecture Planning & Delivery Management: Prepare and facilitate quarterly planning, write Epics and User Stories in Jira, track progress, and support architects in meeting agreed deliverables.
- Architecture Practice Hub Ownership: Act as Product Owner for the SharePoint hub, driving continuous improvement, communications, reporting, and executive-level visualisation.
- Strategic Research & Insight: Research emerging technologies, market trends, and policy changes to inform strategic thinking and decision-making.
- Technology & Architecture Strategy: Develop long- and medium-term technology and architecture strategies aligned to corporate objectives.
- Executive Engagement & Storytelling: Lead workshops and develop concise, data-driven materials to support senior leadership decision-making.
- Architecture Operating Model Improvement: Uplift the Architecture Practice through ongoing refinement of governance, standards, and operating rhythms.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Tertiary qualification in a STEM-related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience in technology strategy, enterprise architecture, business analysis, or consulting within a complex organisation.
- Strong analytical capability with a hypothesis-driven approach to strategy development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of current and emerging technology and architecture trends.
Highly Desirable
Experience working with tools such as iServer, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and MS Office.
