This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to vital projects that power communities across the state — all while working in a safety-first, innovative, and forward-thinking environment.

  • Comply with detail design/drafting related process improvement initiatives to achieve optimal service delivery and safety initiatives.
  • Manage their own performance whilst developing skills and technical expertise to improve personal effectiveness, while proactively seeking technical guidance from engineers and senior draftspersons.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • At least 5 to 6 years demonstrated working knowledge and experience within a Transmission Substations primary, civil-structural, secondary / Operational Telecommunications detailed design or drafting role.
  • Working knowledge of engineering standards and regulations applicable to Substations / Operational Telecommunications design and drafting
  • Demonstrated experience using specialist CAD applications such as Microstation / AutoCAD
