Training Developer

We’re looking for an eLearning Training Developer to join our People Capability Team in a permanent opportunity, where you’ll create engaging, high-impact digital learning experiences that truly resonate. You’ll lead the design and development of interactive eLearning solutions using Articulate Storyline and Rise, grounded in modern instructional design practices and adult learning principles.

 

You’ll play a key role in evolving our digital learning ecosystem, ensuring our training solutions remain innovative, accessible, and responsive to changing industry and business needs, while empowering our workforce with the technical expertise they need to thrive.

 

Your Role in Action

 

  • Research, gather and transform content into engaging eLearning content, applying adult learning principles, storytelling techniques, and scenario-based learning to maximise learner engagement.
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality interactive eLearning modules in Articulate Storyline and Rise, incorporating multimedia, branching scenarios, and assessments that align with compliance requirements.
  • Apply contemporary instructional design methodologies and UX principles to create intuitive, accessible, and visually compelling digital learning experiences.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance eLearning solutions using learner feedback, analytics, and emerging best practices to improve effectiveness, usability, and knowledge transfer.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to modernise learning approaches, including microlearning, mobile-first design, and blended learning strategies to elevate capability outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to co-design accurate, relevant, and impactful digital learning solutions that meet business and learner needs.
  • Translate complex technical, regulatory, and operational concepts into clear, engaging, and interactive eLearning experiences that support practical application in the workplace.
  • Champion innovation in digital learning design, exploring new tools, technologies, and creative approaches to deliver memorable, learner-centric experiences.

 

What Makes You a Great Fit 

 

  • Demonstrated experience designing and developing high-quality eLearning solutions using Articulate Storyline and Rise, with a strong focus on interactivity, accessibility, and learner engagement.
  • Strong understanding of modern instructional design, adult learning principles, and digital learning best practices.
  • Proven ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging eLearning content using multimedia, scenarios, and assessments.
  • Solid knowledge of the VET sector, including national training packages, AQF requirements, and RTO standards.
  • Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and deliver multiple eLearning projects to deadline.
  • Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
