Works Allocation Coordinator – Permanent, Full-time – Perth CBD
The position is responsible for coordinating and allocating a wide range of Distribution works requests including Planned Works Enquiries, Deferred Faults, Request for Repairs (RFR) and other urgent Distribution works, ensuring a high level of customer service and capturing of information to meet business and legislative requirements.
Your Role in Action

The position is responsible for the coordination, assessment and allocation of planned works enquiries to the appropriate business area using knowledge of business processes and systems to help reduce network and public safety risk.

Schedule and plan own daily and weekly allocated workload to meet required timeframes and service level agreements.

Be the single point of contact for managing escalations and customer issues and effectively manage group mailbox gateways for the team where applicable.

Is responsible for leading the coordination and allocation of RFR (Request for Repair) incidents and lead to the creation of urgent RFR work orders.

Allocate and update EMS2C work requests and deferred fault enquiries to ensure the quick remediation of urgent distribution network issues.

Populate WO creation templates for work order creation team.

Maintaining open and trusting workplace relationships and effective communication with multiple stakeholders across the business.

Use of relevant Western Power systems, as required to perform the role.
What Makes You a Great Fit

Completed Year 12 (or equivalent) with English and Mathematics and / or at least 4+ year’s demonstrated general administration experience.

At least 4+ years demonstrated experience in providing administrative office and or operational support services with knowledge of principles and practices of basic office management.

Solid experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software.

Solid technical working knowledge of primary electrical assets and or demonstrated analytical and business process improvement skills and experience.

Solid understanding of administrative functions and office practices.

Able to deliver high quality, professional, customer focused administrative services.

Excellent interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
