Business Operations Administrator – 6 month Fixed Term Contract - South Metro Depot
This position is responsible for the delivery of a wide range of generalist operational business support and administrative office services and activities, ensuring a high level of customer service and capturing information to meet business and legislative requirements.
This role is based at our brand-new state-of-the-art South Metro Depot in Forrestdale, conveniently located next to Tonkin Highway. Spanning across 120,000 square meters. With the latest infrastructure and technology, the depot empowers all employees to create that perfect work-life balance whilst operating in an inclusive and diverse workplace.
Your Role in Action
- Support the area in delivery of projects and planned work by undertaking administrative tasks including issuing of drawings, printing drawings, management of as-constructed drawings
- Perform document and file management for section, including but not limited to scanning and archiving
- Create electronic work packs where necessary
- Support the Function in delivery of projects by undertaking document and drawing control administrative tasks including issuing of drawings, printing drawings, management of as-constructed drawings, scanning and archiving
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders to support the successful delivery of projects
- Assist and support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
- Support the Function in delivery of projects by undertaking general and confidential administrative tasks by maintaining the accuracy of filing systems, including data entry in Ellipse and Salesforce, and appropriate archiving
- Provides financial administrative support through raising customer invoices, purchase requisitions, payments of invoices in Ellipse etc. while ensuring relevant cost codes are utilised.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Completed Year 12 (or equivalent) with English and Mathematics and / or demonstrated general administration experience
- Demonstrated experience in providing administrative office and or operational support services with knowledge of principles and practices of basic office management
- Experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software
- Understanding of administrative functions and office practices
- Able to deliver high quality, professional, customer focused administrative services
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
