Join our team as a Commercial Officer in a 12-month fixed-term opportunity where your attention to detail and passion for delivering accurate market data will help power critical energy market operations.
You'll play a key role in processing exception-based service orders and market transaction data, ensuring the timely publication of metering information, maintenance of standing data, and delivery of market responses that keep the industry moving.
Your Role in Action
- Process exception-based service orders and market transactions accurately and within required timeframes, maintaining high standards of data quality and compliance.
- Investigate and resolve exceptions, using sound judgement and problem-solving skills to identify and address issues efficiently.
- Support the publication and maintenance of standing data, ensuring information is reliable, complete and fit for purpose.
- Manage competing priorities and plan your workload effectively to meet daily, weekly and monthly operational deadlines.
- Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing responsive, professional service and clear communication.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and ways of working, contributing to better outcomes through practical and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work collaboratively across the team, sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive and accountable working environment.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, following safe work practices and actively contributing to a culture where safety comes first.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Experience in an administrative, operational or data-focused role, with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience working with high-volume data and systems, demonstrating a strong eye for detail and a commitment to data quality and compliance.
- A customer-focused mindset, with the ability to build positive relationships, communicate effectively and deliver responsive support to both internal and external stakeholders.
- A proactive and results-oriented approach, taking ownership of your work, meeting deadlines and continuously looking for ways to improve processes and outcomes.
