HR Business Partner Lead - Operations - Full-Time South Metro Depot Forrestdale

 

Step into a key leadership role as a HR Business Partner Lead - Operations, where you will lead a team of HR professionals and deliver strategic and operational HR partnering that supports Western Power’s organisational goals.

 

Your Role in Action 

                                                                       

  • Lead, coach and develop the HRBP team to deliver consistent, high-quality HR partnering.
  • Provide expert guidance and act as the escalation point for complex or sensitive HR matters.
  • Ensure HR advice and practices comply with legislation, enterprise agreements and internal policies.
  • Partner with senior leaders to build capability and support effective people management.
  • Collaborate closely across the People function to align initiatives and resolve organisational challenges.
  • Support the implementation of key strategic and business initiatives across the organisation.
  • Build strong relationships with business leaders and stakeholders to understand and respond to organisational needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement in HR service delivery and partnering effectiveness. 

 

What Makes You a Great Fit  

 

  • Tertiary degree in Human Resources, Employee Relations or a related field (or equivalent experience) and demonstrated ongoing professional development.
  • Extensive experience at a senior human resources level in a complex medium to large organisation.
  • Sound technical knowledge and understanding of workplace legislation (e.g. Fair Work Act, WHS Act) and enterprise agreements, and extensive practical experience in their application.
  • Experience leading, coaching and developing teams, ideally in a formal leadership or team management capacity.
  • Advanced communication and influencing skills at all levels of an organisation, including with Executive and other senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience in contributing to HR strategy and execution of plans.
