Project Network Officer - South Metro Depot - Permanent
The Project Network Officer will be responsible for managing the construction phase of Western Power’s asset driven and customer driven projects.
This role is based at our brand-new state-of-the-art South Metro Depot in Forrestdale, conveniently located next to Tonkin Highway. Spanning across 120,000 square meters. With the latest infrastructure and technology, the depot empowers all employees to create that perfect work-life balance whilst operating in an inclusive and diverse workplace.
Your Role in Action

- Plan and implement multiple projects during their construction phase.
- Make the best use of assigned resources to meet planned outputs.
- Coordinate or perform complex technical work on Western Power networks.
- Use project management systems and tools to manage work.
- Adhere (and ensure adherence) to all safety strategies, programs, and practices.
- Take personal accountability for work performance and be open to other contributions. Work cooperatively within the team and across Western Power.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- It is essential that the incumbent possesses a relevant trade, diploma, or tertiary qualification.
- Best practice experience in project management (such as negotiation, planning, communication, use of initiative and problem solving) with a minimum of 8 years’ extensive experience.
- Strong experience dealing with external customers.
- Hold all appropriate industry licences or certificates of competency including switching authorisations (HOU, LOU).
- Health & Safety knowledge relevant to the electricity supply and construction sector.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
