Business Operations Administrator

This position will be responsible for the delivery of a wide range of generalist operational business support and administrative office services and activities, ensuring a high level of customer service and capturing information to meet business and legislative requirements. This position is a part time, 10-month max term contract.

 

This role is based at our brand-new state-of-the-art South Metro Depot in Forrestdale, conveniently located next to Tonkin Highway. Spanning across 120,000 square meters. With the latest infrastructure and technology, the depot empowers all employees to create that perfect work-life balance whilst operating in an inclusive and diverse workplace.

 

Your Role in Action  

 

  • In accordance with defined processes and work instructions, support the area in delivery of projects and planned work by undertaking administrative tasks including issuing of drawings, printing drawings, management of as-constructed drawings.
  • Create electronic work packs where necessary.
  • Use of relevant Western Power systems, as required to perform the role.
  • Process Ariba financial & requisitioning transactions.
  • Run/produce standard business reports.
  • Maintain suitable levels of stationery, IT equipment etc, and ordering of PPE & PPC, as required.
  • Assist and support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

 

What Makes You a Great Fit

 

  • At least 2 to 3 years demonstrated experience in provided administrative office and or operational support services with knowledge of principles and practices of basic office management.
  • Experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software.
  • Understanding of administrative functions and office practices.
  • Able to deliver high quality, professional, customer focused administrative services.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist and support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
