Kickstart your future with Western Power’s 2025 Apprenticeship Program and become a nationally qualified Cable Jointer at our South Metro Depot in Forrestdale. Over four years, you'll get hands-on training and classroom instruction while working on our underground distribution network whilst being guided by seasoned professionals.

What You Need:

 

  • Hold a valid WA ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence
  • Have full working rights in Australia
  • Provide a current National Police Clearance
  • Be 18 years or older at the time of commencement
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety
  • Alignment with Western Power’s values
  • Be available to commence in July 2025
  • Certificate II in Electrotechnology is high desirable
