Electrical Inspections Governance and Compliance Consultant – Permanent Full-time – Jandakot Depot
We are currently seeking a skilled Electrical Inspections Governance and Compliance Consultant to join our team at our Jandakot Hope Road depot on a Permanent Full-Time basis.
As the Electrical Inspections Governance and Compliance Consultant, you will be responsible for ensuring that the highest level of compliance with electrical requirements and stakeholder obligations to ensure the effective delivery of all activities associated with the inspection, investigation, and connection of consumer electrical installations, including the relationship management of stakeholder.
Your Role in Action
- Develop and manage a continuous improvement program that will enhance the effective delivery of the Electrical Inspection System Plan (ISP), as agreed with Building & Energy.
- Manage business modelling initiatives and communications for customer and stakeholder management.
- Assess and report on operational delivery and performance, in order to improve regulatory compliance. Contribute towards ensuring that deliverables achieve measurable outcomes against the inspectorate obligations.
- Perform competency – base audit assessments with Western Power scheme participants to align and maintain skills, knowledge and competency.
- Assist in the analysis of performance trends with the development and implementation of improvements, including, the scheduling and delivery of work.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Human Resources, or related disciplines– essential.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to write detailed reports to a high standard.
- Understanding the role of a regulatory authority and regulatory requirements relating to electrical industry.
- Be a highly disciplined, self-starting member of a dynamic team.
- Demonstrated experience within the electricity industry and/or others, with people, stakeholder, customer and delivery experience.
- Strong work management and delivery skills.
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, that enables effective interaction with key stakeholders, peers and the general community.
- Valid WA Driver’s License Class ‘C’ or ‘C-A’.
